    The Role:
    The Manager of Compensation and Benefits manages, plans, and coordinates People and Culture compensation and benefits programs. This position fosters a positive and motivating workplace culture by designing and implementing innovative rewards programs and managing performance-based reward systems that align with the LVCVA compensation philosophy.

    What You’ll Do:
    Keep in mind that this list is not all-inclusive.
    • Evaluate an d Analyze Classifications :
      • Conduct classification studies. Create and edit job descriptions and perform job evaluations to recommend classification and compensation.
      • Ensure timely updates to wage programs and HR systems.
      • Participate in the development and implementation of annual merit processes.
      • Participate in compensation surveys and timely update the compensation tool.
    Manage Effective Programs :
    • Manage the daily operations of rewards functions for consistency in service delivery and program administration.
    • Develop and execute projects and events related to functional oversight.
    • Meet with staff to create procedural changes and solutions when necessary.
    • Produce and conduct training on various functions for company-wide knowledge.
    • Keep abreast of changes to federal, state, and local employment laws affecting areas of oversight. Recommend appropriate actions to management.
    Lead An Extraordinary Team :
    • Manage the daily activities of assigned staff. Monitor service, goal progression, work output, and team project plans. Provide technical and analytical guidance when necessary.
    • Participate in the selection of staff. Mentor and foster a culture of creativity and inclusion.
    Analyze and Report Compliance :
    • Conduct various organizational and operational studies and develop reports on multiple data points, performance measurements, and key performance indicators.
    • Review monthly benefit reports and assist with billing approvals.


    What We’re Looking For:
    • High School Diploma is required, a bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business management, or a related field is preferred
    • Professional Certification and Certified Compensation Professional (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
    • Proficiency with job classification and analysis, writing job descriptions, compensation benchmarking, and HRIS and talent management systems
    • Prior experience with benefit plan administration is preferred
    • Proven experience supervising and evaluating the work of a team in Human Resources in multiple disciplines
    • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
    • Strong strategic thinking, interpretation, and analytical skills
    • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to valuing differences among individuals and being inclusive
    • Advanced ability to listen and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, management, and other Ambassadors in a variety of formats
    • Ability to analyze and evaluate issues, resolve problems, and maintain effective working relationships
    • Proficient in office equipment, computers, and Microsoft Suite
    • Experience with presenting information and facilitating training
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
    • Energetic self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail who possesses the highest level of integrity
