  Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience
  
  Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business/public administration, or an appropriate discipline (Equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution for the required degree on an exception basis). 3 to 5 years of specific professional experience in finance/accounting working with a city, county, state, or federal governmental agency. Must have at least 2-3 years of management experience.
  
  Preferred Education & Experience
  
  Master’s degree in finance or accounting (Equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution for the master’s degree on an exception basis) and 5-8 years of professional accounting experience, including 2-3 years of management experience.
  
  Licensures and Certifications
  
  None required
