Battle Born Kids (BBK) and Battle Born Teens (BBT) Battle Born Kids and Battle Born Teens are recreation programs held during the day to support distance learning for children ages K-8th grade while the Clark County School District (CCSD) holds virtual-only instruction due to the COVID-19 public emergency. The programs incorporate games, crafts, sports, and movies into the day while also supporting distance learning. BBK and BBT are offered from 7am to 6pm at Black Mountain Recreation Center, Henderson Multigenerational Center, Silver Springs Recreation Center, Valley View Recreation Center, and Whitney Ranch Recreation Center. Safekey & Teen Scene Safekey is a before- and after-school recreational enrichment program offered at all Henderson elementary schools. This fun-filled program focuses on crafts, games, cooking, and special activities.
