Assist with the intake of student applying for emergency housing resources; co-facilitate and coordinate placement of students into emergency housing; coordinate and assist with the implementation and marketing of the meal sharing program; facilitate the work of the meal-sharing program; and develop effective processes and procedures for student placement and follow-up. Required Qualifications & Experience: Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in nutritional science, sociology, public health, education, or related field. Two years of full-time professional experience in one of the student services program areas or in a related field; experience should give evidence of competence and indicate the potential for further growth. A master's degree in a job-related field may be substituted for one year of the professional experience. Must possess: proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel); strong collaboration skills and organizational skills; ability to work with students on a day-to-day basis; and ability to analyze and solve problems. The incumbent must have a willingness to work with ethnically diverse and culturally pluralistic student body and staff and have a demonstrated interest and/or ability to work in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in kinesiology and nutritional sciences or in a related field. One year of higher education experience. Experience working with a food pantry and/or CalFresh Outreach Center.
