Job Description and Duties METROPOLITAN STATE HOSPITAL- Located in Norwalk, Los Angeles County The Department of State Hospitals, Metropolitan State Hospital is currently accepting applications for Senior Psychiatric Technician (Safety), Permanent/Fulltime. Under direction of the Unit Supervisor/Supervising Registered Nurse or designee, incumbents administer care to forensic patients; assist in planning and evaluation of nursing care; provide a basic level of general behavioral and psychiatric nursing care and are expected to facilitate the rehabilitation of forensic clients and patients.
