Examples of Duties Performs a full range of occupational therapy work with physically handicapped children. Teaches self-care activities in such areas as communication, feeding, dressing, personal hygiene and other activities of daily living; instructs child through well directed activity to develop maximum functioning in fine motor skills and other movements. Adapts games, crafts and other activities as therapeutic exercises. Evaluates physically handicapped children to determine occupational therapy needs; sets therapy goals and objectives.
