Introduction Definition Plus $ 2.00 / Hour Extra Help Differential THE JOB: The Parks Department is hiring Recreation Leaders of all levels for our Learning and Enrichment Camps. Camps will be small, stable groups of school-age children to support Distance Learning and provide enriching activities. Under supervision, perform duties related to recreational, cultural and park operational programs for children and adults at a variety of sites; and do other work as required. Employment Standards THE REQUIREMENTS: Any combination of training and experience which would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain these would be: Parks, Recreation & Cultural Worker I: No specific training or experience is required for this level. Special Requirements: License, Certificate Requirements: Some positions may require possession of a valid California class C driver license. Some positions may require possession of the equivalent to a valid First Aid Certificate, and Infant and two person CPR certificates to be obtained within the first three months of employment. Background Investigation: Fingerprinting is required for some positions.
