POSITION PURPOSE / IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION The City of Westminster Street Maintenance Division is hiring a full-time, temporary, benefited Street Maintenance Worker I/II until December 31, 2021. Pending city budget approval and other considerations, the position may extend beyond December 31, 2021 - more details will be discussed during interviews. Applicants are REQUIRED to possess a State of Colorado Commercial Driver's License (A or B) at the time of hire and applicants with CDL driving, street maintenance, and snow removal experience will be preferred. This position is semi-skilled to skilled labor involving operation of light vehicles, machinery, and hand and power tools in public works maintenance and construction. Work requires considerable physical exertion and is performed under severe working conditions. It is a mandatory requirement of this position to work overtime, take weekend duty and be on call for emergency work such as snow removal, water breaks, and sewer backups. Employee must be able to respond within thirty minutes when on-call, including in inclement weather. This is a safety sensitive position. The hiring range for this position will be $37,761.36 to $43,639.94 per year based on experience and qualifications. The full salary range for this position is stated above. POSITION PURPOSE / IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION The City of Westminster Street Maintenance Division is hiring a full-time, temporary, benefited Street Maintenance Worker I/II until December 31, 2021. Pending city budget approval and other considerations, the position may extend beyond December 31, 2021 - more details will be discussed during interviews.
