Description This is skilled work in a lead position for maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical fixtures, equipment, and systems. Performs a variety of routine electrical maintenance/repairs in order to maintain facility/equipment in operating condition, ensure safe work environment and/or ensure electrical service is not interrupted. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on a variety of electrical equipment/services in order to identify potential problems, minimize need for emergency repairs, and or maximize the useful life of the equipment. Interacts with the public and or other staff in order to answer questions or identify their service needs. Executes purchase orders authorized by the department director. This position does not have final procurement authority. Performs related work as directed or required.
