Job Requirement Education/Experience: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and meets the requirements as specified in the Nursing Administrative Policy # PP-101, minimum of one (1) year recent (within the past five (5) years) PICU RN experience in a similar facility. Current BLS required upon hire. Current ACLS and PALS certifications upon hire or within six (6) months of hire. TNCC and ABLS within 12 months of hire. Licensing/Certification Requirements: Current License by the Nevada State Board of Nursing to Practice as a Registered Nurse, Basic Life support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).Trauma Nurse Core Certification (TNCC) and Advance Burn Life Support (ABLS) must be obtained within one (1) of hire date.
