San Mateo County Health's Behavioral Health and RecoveryServices (BHRS) Division has exciting opportunities for three experienced psychiatric nurses to work in Behavioral Health and Recovery Services as members of one of our interdisciplinary teams. Community Mental Health Nurses provide psychiatric assessment, and treatment planning, care coordination, medication therapy and individual, group and family counseling. Our nurses work with acute hospitals and community resources to coordinate clients' clinical care and recovery services. The (TW) Community Mental Health Nurse will work with a multidisciplinary team of medical and behavioral health professionals, community workers, and others to improve health outcomes of BHRS consumers. General supervision of the Community Mental Health Nurse will be provided by the Total Wellness Supervising Mental Health Clinician.
