Position Description Contributes to the university’s mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit. Major/Essential Functions Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Full Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate's qualifications and experience. Duties will be split between the Lubbock VA Clinic and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC).. Involvement in medical student education and residency training program. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide ongoing care for patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal neuromuscular and pain conditions. Inpatient consults Education of rotating students & residents both on inpatient & outpatient EMG & Neuromuscular Ultrasound Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen to work with the Lubbock VA Clinic Occasional Duties Coverage of the inpatient PM&R service Required Qualifications Successful completion of a residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) or completion of residency by Summer 2023. Board Certified Physiatrist or Board Eligible on or before July 1, 2024. MD or DO Required Current Texas medical license OR eligible for State of Texas license Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen to work with the Lubbock VA Clinic Optional Attachments Professional/Personal Reference, Professional License/Certification, Other Documents Supporting Qualifications Pay Statement Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan.
