One of these positions will also help support the Health Department’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Bureau. The PEP Unit provides intra-Bureau and Departmental coordination to improve social equity, engage the community and improve quality with a focus on prevention and health equity. The Public Health Epidemiologist II works with the EMS Director, EMS Medical Director, and EMS stakeholders to analyze data and provide recommendations for improvement of the performance of the EMS system.
