HIV/STD Community Program is seeking a
Regional HIV & STD Coordinator. This position is responsible for the coordination of prevention services, collection and analysis of prevention data for the Network of Care and Prevention in Region 6. Additionally, the position will assist the Care Coordinator of Region Six (6) and the HIV/STD Community Program Manager.
Essential Functions: - Creates reports and provides data feedback for the use of prevention programs reporting as well as for program planning, implementation, evaluation and quality improvement as required by NC State-Communicable Diseases funding
- Utilize available demographic prevention, clinical and health care utilization information to enhance and to expand trend analyses, to enhance relationships between disease and prevention community activities
- Provide program evaluation and to assist in the creation of and monitoring of outcome measures and cost-benefit analysis
- Manage prevention aspects of our state-mandated data collection system, CAREWare
This role is responsible for the activities on prevention of the network of care as needed by the terms of our Network of Care and Prevention grant. The network is a partnership of HIV prevention and care providers across an eleven-county region. The prevention budget is one million two hundred thousand dollars ($1.2m), that will be distributed among the prevention providers in the network, and the funds and services provided, will be managed by this position. Accordingly, the submission of budgets, budget narratives, budget realignments, data reports and quarterly reports will be the responsibility of this position. Additionally, the position will assume responsibility for all aspects of coordinating prevention network activities.

The Basics (Required Education and Experience) - Bachelor's degree
- Two years of job-related experience
- Equivalent education and experience are accepted

Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience) - More than one (1) year of experience in at least one of the following areas: HIV Prevention Data Management - including data entry; Grant Management experience including grant writing, evaluation, and monitoring compliance
- Bachelor's Degree in field related to position
- Spanish Language skills preferred but not required

Hiring Range: 61,569 - 83,123 Commensurate with Experience
Market Range: 61,569.00 - 104,676.00
