Human Resources Assistant
Department of Revenue

This instrumental position in the Human Resources and Total Rewards office will provide quality customer service to the employees of the Department of Revenue. You’ll love the strong, supportive work environment and have the opportunity to learn and grow in this position.

DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:
This description may not include all of the duties, knowledge, skills, or abilities associated with this title.- Process payroll using the state’s SAM II payroll system and process benefits.
- Monitor, correct, and verify timekeeping entries.
- Process workers compensation, unemployment protests and employment verifications.
- Conduct new employee orientation on a rotating basis.
- Assist employees with questions.

QUALIFICATIONS:- Possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency
- 2 -4 years of relevant experience, above general clerical work.
- Payroll experience in the SAM II HR system preferred.
- Microsoft Excel experience is beneficial.
- High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
