The Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH) seeks a
Treatment Services Program Coordinator. This position is domiciled in
Jefferson City, Missouri, at the Department's Central Office location.
This position will provide oversite of the implementation, development, coordination, and maintenance regarding: the Comprehensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation (CPR) Program, Comprehensive Substance Treatment and Rehabilitation (CSTAR) Program, and for a statewide fidelity review team. The position will provide technical assistance to behavioral health programs in identified evidence-based practices including Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Integrated Treatment for Co-occurring Disorders (ITCD). This position will work closely with colleagues across all DBH programs including providing trainings and understanding of monitoring functions.
This position may require travel and overnight stays as necessary.
Salary up to $70,558.44 annually, commensurate with education and experience.
- Provide direct supervision and oversight to a team of specialists, including provision of supervision and team meetings.
- Manage all reports, bulletins, manuals, code of state regulations along with any other documentation to assure quality, accuracy, consistency and coordination regarding the behavioral health programs listed above.
- Oversight of proposal process for programs and services such as ICPR residential and non-residential services, ACT, ITCD, DBT and Psychiatric Rehabilitation-Illness Management and Recovery programming.
- Assist with maintenance of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Substance Use Disorder (SUD) 1115 Demonstration Waiver.
- Provide guidance and interpretation of policy, procedures, and standards for provider organizations as well as peers, individuals supervised and other departmental entities.
- Plan, schedule, organize and conduct fidelity reviews, to include reports, and technical assistance.
- Coordinate with colleagues and national trainers regarding fidelity protocols.
- Maintain relationships with community stakeholders to help provide continuous quality improvement for evidence-based programs.
- Develop, and track annual training budgets for trainings for DBT, ITCD and ACT. Conduct trainings virtually and in person as necessary.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with providers, colleagues and leadership by participating in supervision meetings, department meetings and committee work.
- Collect and input data and provide feedback to providers as it relates to tracking and monitoring provider outcomes and staff performance in SharePoint and Tableau.
- Collaborate on projects and complete other duties as assigned.
At a minimum, bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field or four years of progressive professional experience including 2 years of supervisory experience.
Master’s degree in social work or psychology related field with licensure preferred
The ideal candidate must demonstrate a working knowledge of leadership and supervision skills, application of state/federal regulations and evidence-based practices. The candidate must have good leadership, communication, organization/time management, writing, and presentation skills.
Applicants must also be well organized and able to successfully manage multiple work priorities. This position requires existing knowledge of, or the development of expertise around evidence-based practices along with Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Comprehensive Substance use Treatment and Rehabilitation programming. Supervisory experience is required
