Why you’ll love this position:The Children’s Trust Fund (CTF) is seeking
three (3) applicants for a Grants Specialist position. This senior-level position will be an integral part of a team managing all aspects of the CTF’s child abuse and neglect prevention grant programs. Grants management duties include developing requests for proposals, providing technical assistance to applicants, overseeing competitive bid processes, awarding contracts and supporting grantees in achieving outcomes. The Grants Specialist will work with an array of community, state and national organizations, so ability to build relationships is very important.
The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
- Writing requests for proposals
- Organizing grant review processes
- Communicating with applicants and grantees
- Monitoring grantees
- Providing technical assistance to grantees to improve performance
- Attending meetings with stakeholders
- Coordinating CTF trainings and conferences
- Organizing convening’s of grantees
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree, 2-3 years professional work experience in the field of child maltreatment or closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in managing state or federal contracts
- Knowledgeable of child maltreatment prevention
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic and motivation to learn
- Some in-state and out-of-state travel required
