Our executive assistant is critical to ensuring our office runs smoothly so that our cases can run smoothly. This position reports to the Managing Commissioner and primarily supports the Presiding and Managing Commissioners in administering the systems, facilities, and finances necessary to operate efficiently. The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
What you’ll do: - Manage the Commission’s facilities and supplies
- Prepare invoices and p rocess financial transactions in the state’s accounting systems
- Assist the Presiding Commissioner in preparing and monitoring t he AHC ’s budget and spending
- Develop and monitor performance metrics to help the Commission manage its workload
- Coordinate with IT, oth er agencies , and outside vendors
- Administer our case-management system and SharePoint site
- Perform other duties as assigned by Commissioners
All you need for success: Minimum Qualifications
- 4-6 years of relevant experience or bachelor’s degree + 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs , especially Word and Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Trustworthiness with confidential information
- Self-motivation, critical thinking, and ability to work with a team
Preferred Qualifications , Skills, and Experience
- Working knowledge of SAM II , MOVERS, MoCareers , and SharePoint
- Prior experience working in a court or law office
