    The Basics (Required Education and Experience)

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Two years of job-related experience
    • Valid Driver’s License and “safe” driving record
    • Equivalent education and experience are accepted

    Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience)

    • 2 years of job related experience recruiting, managing and training volunteers


    How Will We Know You're 'The One'?

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with individuals at all organizational levels
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
    • Demonstrated proficiency in computer operating systems and use of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Advanced critical thinking and project management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize
    • Ability to manage multiple assignments requiring attention to detail
    • Ability to exercise independent and sound judgment in performing the duties of the position
    • Ability to maintain good boundaries with high level of confidentiality

    Work Schedule: 8:30AM to 5:15PM

    Hiring Range: 26.54 - 34.06

    Market Range: 26.54 - 41.59

    Emergency Service Worker Statement

    In the event of an emergency, as determined by the County Manager or designee, participation in preparedness and response operations should be expected. Employee may be required to fill a temporary assignment in a role different from standard duties, work hours and/or work location in preparation for, during and after the emergency. Employee may also be required to participate in relevant exercises and regular preparedness training.
