As an HR Administrative Assistant, you’ll be the face of the HR team, providing support to the entire HR team, County employees, retirees, and HR department representatives, assisting them with various questions and key functions. OPEN UNTIL FILLED - APPLICATION REVIEW BEGINS IMMEDIATELY Duties and ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Do: Every day will bring new challenges and opportunities to make an impact. In this role, you will:- Support the Team: Provide administrative support to the HR team, including opening and closing the HR department, handling queries and questions via phone, email, and general correspondence. Triage and transfer calls, take thorough messages. Safeguard confidential information.
- Professional Communication and Coordination: Professionally greet and assist all internal and external customers of the HR department. Review and maintain internal calendars. Maintain the appearance and hygiene standards of the reception area and conference rooms.
- Resolve Issues with Ease: Act as a bridge between HR and departments, assist with onboarding questions and processing I-9 and E-Verify forms within standards.
- Support Employees and Retirees: Process mail, log requests, prepare employee files, subpoenas, and FOIA requests. Relay information regarding payments and process Visa/master card payments.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Alert management of any potential new developments or administrative concerns. Participate in training sessions and meetings.
- Be Part of a Collaborative Team: Share your expertise, guidance, collaboration, and flexibility to help each other achieve the team's success.

Minimum QualificationsYour Qualifications: Bring your expertise to the table with:- High School Diploma or GED. An Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
- At least two year’s or more of Office Experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to communicate technical information, both verbally and in writing.
