The Family Support Division (FSD) is seeking applications for one Staff Development Training Manager within the FSD . The base location for this position is negotiable based on your current location and office capacity.
Travel is required.The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for coordinating and developing policies and administrative procedures related to the operation of a training program.
- Provide oversight and daily supervision, direction and delegation of work to training instructors who are assigned to specialized training duties, and have input into setting a budget.
- Participate in training design and instruction and are accountable for the work performance of training staff and compliance with established objectives.
- Coordinate with indirect reports and training supervisors in each office.
- Work with the office managers and the training supervisor to ensure they are using the training plans developed for new staff.
- Coordinate the trainings for agency contractors and vendors.
- Conduct budget analysis as it relates to the FSD training needs.
- Communicate with the Assistant Deputy Director's in charge of field staff, Program Coordinators, Program Managers, Training Supervisors, FSD/IM Training staff, the FSD/IM call center trainer to coordinate training needs.
- Communicate with ITSD to work on updates with online trainings.
- Work with Human Resource Center (HRC) with the Department to correct issues that come up with training records of staff.
Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
Knowledge, skills & abilities: In addition to those identified in the previous levels: Knowledge of the methods and techniques involved in the coordination and management of a training program. Ability to plan, direct and evaluate staff and their responsibilities.
