Description: The Legal Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to attorneys. Responsible for drafting legal documents, maintaining staff calendars, scanning and copying documents, scheduling hearings and court appointments, processing mail, tracking case communications and deadlines, and conducting case analysis for data collection. Assists with fulfilling all statutory, constitutional and ethical obligations of the District Attorney’s Office.
COMPENSATION: Hiring Range: $25.00 - 36.06 USD Hourly Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:- Provides administrative support including: collaborating with assigned attorneys; scheduling meetings, court hearings, and agendas; editing and preparing a variety of letters, memoranda, and basic reports; researching basic information; and providing related support.
- Performs basic office duties, such as copying, filing, faxing, typing standard documents, preparing, sorting, and distributing mail and entering data.
- Answers phones, responds to inquiries, and makes appropriate referrals.
- Maintains exhibits, documentation for hearings, and court files.
- Follows established guidelines to sort, organize, and archive electronic and physical files.
- Tracks status of cases and follows proper chronological steps for service of process, statutory requirements, and case filings.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - 1 year of work-related experience.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certificate.
- Note an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
