    St. Louis Developmental Disabilities Treatment Centers

    Expected Salary: $3,561.84 semi-monthly ($85,484.26 annually)

    Job Location: This position will be located at St. Charles Habilitation Center, 22 Marr Lane; St. Charles, MO 63303. Regular work schedule will be 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with weekends and holidays off; however, schedule flexibility is required to meet the needs of the facility.

    St. Charles Habilitation Center is developing a Crisis Program designed to serve individuals with developmental disabilities and high behavioral support needs. This program offers acute behavioral stabilization with a goal of helping individuals gain the skills needed to return to community settings. This position will play an instrumental role in the success of the Crisis Program, contributing directly to its planning, implementation and ongoing improvement.

    What you’ll do:

    St. Charles Habilitation Center is looking for a Licensed Behavior Analyst with training and experience working with individuals dually diagnosed with developmental disabilities and mental illness. The Licensed Behavior Analyst will serve as an active member of an interdisciplinary treatment team. They will conduct behavioral assessments, design and implement behavior support plans to enhance adaptive behaviors, diminish challenging behaviors, and assist with transition to less restrictive settings. The Licensed Behavior Analyst will train SOP Crisis team members to implement the behavior support plan and will oversee the implementation, making revisions as needed. The Licensed Behavior Analyst will participate in treatment team meetings to develop, review, and update treatment plans. This position will maintain a caseload of up to 4 individuals in the SOP Crisis Program and up to 15 long-term habilitation center residents.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Possession of a current license to practice as a Behavior Analyst in Missouri.

    • Board Certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

    • Strong observation skills, ability to demonstrate role-play.

    • Ability to get along well with our consumers, family members, co-workers and administration.

    • Knowledge of behavior skills training methods and ability to train staff in plan implementation, positive behavior supports, Safety Care and Advanced Safety Care, Mental Health First Aid, and other courses as needed. Must have ability to obtain certification in all required trainings and certification to be a trainer. Training will be provided.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Training and/or experience assessing and/or treating individuals dually diagnosed with developmental disabilities and serious mental illness.

    Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
