Job Location: This position will be located at Central office Roberts building 1706 E Elm Street Jefferson City, MO 65109.

The Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), Division of Behavioral Health (DBH), seeks an Intermediate Accountant. This position reports to the Community Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:- Track, report, and analyze federal grant spending,
- Work with program staff to submit grant applications and required grant reports,
- Ensure grant spending is within federal regulations,
- Ensure Substance Use, Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery Services (SUPTRS) block grant 20% Prevention set-aside is met,
- Ensure block grants for Community Mental Health Services (MHBG) 10% Early Serious Mental Illness Set-Aside and 5% Crisis Services set-aside are met,
- Assist with cost reports and managed care wrap payments related to the Certified Community Behavioral Healthcare Organizations (CCBHO),
- Assist with the division’s crisis programs, including 988 Call Centers, Mobile Crisis Services, and Behavioral Health Crisis Centers,
- Assistance with provider allocations in Customer Information Management, Outcomes and Reporting (CIMOR) and the Claims Validation System (CVS),
- Creating and interpreting reports for management decision making,
- Participating in the development of improved procedures and controls.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:- Experience using a Microsoft Windows Operating System
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with federal grants
- Ability to analyze financials and alert management of outliers
