The central office general services manager (procurement) is responsible for MoDOT’s statewide procurement activities. Responsibilities are performed under general supervision.- Provide guidance, training and assistance to department staff regarding procurement policies and processes.
- Ensure department purchases comply with state laws, regulations and policies.
- Review and approve procurement documents including solicitations, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Maintain positive working relationships with suppliers, provide outreach to increase available suppliers, and address issues that arise.
- Supervise, train, and develop the Central Office Procurement team.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree: Business Administration or related field, AND six years of experience in related area,
- OR Ten years of experience in business administration or a related area.
Special Working Conditions:- Job requires occasional, statewide, overnight travel.
