JOB SUMMARYThe Town of Prosper is currently seeking qualified and dedicated individual for the position of:
Senior Building Inspector. - Must possess International Code Council Combination Inspector Certification (commercial) or equivalent.
- Must possess a Plumbing Inspector License by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners.
- Must possess Texas Class C Drivers License.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and/or post-offer physical exam.
Senior Building Inspector provides the highest level of service to the engineering, architectural, construction community, and other citizens through the enforcement, interpretation, and application of building, zoning, and sign codes and other Town ordinances. The Senior Building Inspector provides assistance in overseeing the daily activities of the Building Inspection division and with training Inspectors in field inspections for code and ordinance compliance. Provides respectful, courteous and customer friendly inspection services to residents, property owners and the building community.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED- Receives general direction from the Chief Building Inspector.
