    Higginsville Habilitation Center is recruiting for Licensed Practical Nurses, to be a part of a highly effective team, that makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. HHC is a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports individuals receiving 24/7 services.

    Must have knowledge of current nursing theory, practices and techniques. Skill in applying practical nursing principles in the care of persons with developmental disabilities.

    Performs a variety of practical nursing duties to individuals with developmental disabilities in a team setting. Duties include: direct patient care, lab draws, medication administration, educating direct support staff, attend specialist appointments, management of caseload to include following current standard of practice and ICF policies and procedures.

    QUALIFICATIONS :

    Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

    Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
