    Full-time position available with the Parks and Recreation Department, District 3 Division, located at 6901 Elmwood Ave.
    Salary Range: $20.10-$30.64/hour
    Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

    Responsibilities

    • Participates in snow removal operations.
    • Operates tractors for mowing fields. Pick litter and tree limbs etc.
    • Drives trucks for tree/brush/trash removal.
    • Assists in loading brush and in general cleanup of areas where brush or fallen trees are removed.
    • Operates power saw, stump grinder, tree sprayer, and other related equipment.
    • Services assigned equipment with fuel, oil, and or grease.
    • May be assigned to operate heavy, or more skilled and complex automotive equipment for training, or relief purposes.



    Qualifications

    REQUIRES 6 months of experience in the operation of trucks and other specialized automotive equipment. Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license in accordance with City of KCMO policies. May be required to possess a valid Missouri Class A, B or C CDL prior to the end of probationary period. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and post-offer physical examination as prescribed by the City.
