    Are you a community-minded leader passionate about civic engagement, partnerships, and public service? The City of Monroe, LA is seeking a dynamic Director of Community Affairs to lead key departments including Parks & Recreation, the Civic Center, the Louisiana Purchase Gardens & Zoo, and more.

    About the Role:
    Reporting to the Mayor, this high-impact position oversees strategic initiatives, public-facing programs, and interdepartmental collaboration with police, fire, and public works teams.

    We’re Looking For Someone Who:
    - Has 5+ years of experience in municipal government or public service
    - Excels in community engagement, team leadership, and project management
    - Is confident navigating high-stakes conversations and representing the City
    - Holds a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
