- Serve as a friendly, professional first point of contact for office visitors and callers, ensuring excellent customer service
- Support legislative tracking with database entry and maintaining digital files on bill information.
- Handle general office management duties including assisting with basic IT troubleshooting, maintaining office supplies, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Help manage purchasing, financial tracking, and the office’s budget
- Assist with document formatting and editing for office publications
- Collaborate closely with the support staff manager and legislative coordinator on planning, office management, and legislative tasks.
All you need for success:Minimum Qualifications - At least 2 years of professional office work
- Proficiency in Microsoft software including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent editing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
- Organizational skills, proven reliability, and a positive, collaborative mindset
Preferred Qualifications - Strong personal management skills
- Ability to work independently to accomplish goals
- Prior experience with MissouriBUYS; basic introduction to MOVERS,
- Experience with database tools for data entry or tracking
- Basic understanding of Missouri’s legislative or budget processes.
