    This position may be domiciled at Central Region Training Academy, Academy for Excellence in Corrections, or Eastern Region Training Center

    An individual in this position will work with a team who is responsible for recruitment efforts for positions within Department of Corrections.

    Work with the Recruitment Officer in the Talent Acquisition section to develop prospective candidates and schedule interviews statewide through multiple systems including but not limited to Indeed, MO Careers/HireTrue, Face Book, and Mobile Talent.

    Must be comfortable with calling, texting, and emailing prospects that have shown interest in departmental jobs to scheduling job interviews and to assist as needed with the application process.

    Maintain effective relationships with Institutional leaders and other staff as well as develop social and professional networks to source qualified candidates.

    Inform applicants about the job and department, coordinate a variety of recruiting initiatives and attend career fairs for department recognition as needed.

    Must be able to travel to some recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule.

    Candidates will also exercise initiative and independence within established guidelines; receive general administrative direction and work independently.

    Work schedule will include evening, weekend hours, and some holidays.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Applicants with recruiting experience are preferred.
