Why you’ll love this position: This position will assist in the coordination, administration, operation, planning, organization, and execution of efforts around improving services for students with disabilities within the Office of Special Education. The position is responsible for planning and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Office of Special Education through data systems and business system requirements.
- Coordinate the management of staff projects and activities within the Office of Special Education Data and Business System sections.
- Coordinate the management of federal requirements related to Differentiated Monitoring and Supports activities on behalf of the Office of Special Education.
- Assist in the coordination and development of the ongoing strategic planning process within the Office of Special Education.
- Lead and facilitate training for all Office of Special Education staff and State Operated Programs (SOP) on using programmatic, evaluative, and operational data to continuously monitor improvements in program and business operation efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support SOP’s use of technology and data systems for instructional and business purposes.
- Provide data analysis support to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of special education general supervision functions, including, but not limited to, monitoring reviews, discipline reviews, disproportionality reviews, coordinated early intervening services, and determinations.
- Manage data security, testing, and support for deployments.
- Serve as business liaison with supported agency staff to analyze business systems’ existing and proposed requirements, processes, data, database structures, programs, functions, and agency feasibility.
- Exercise considerable independence and judgment in the performance of duties.
- Ability to utilize project management tools.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, staff, and the general public.

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Business Administration, Educational Administration, Educational Statistics, Computer Science, or closely related field.
OR - Five years of successful, progressively responsible experience in project management and development. Three years of business analysis experience.
