    Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Respiratory Care Practitioners to join the innovative Mobile Asthma Clinic, a mobile healthcare program dedicated to improving pediatric asthma management in San Bernardino County. This mobile team travels to 40 schools, providing on-site care, diagnostic testing, treatment, and education to children in underserved communities. The team includes a pediatric specialist, a licensed vocational nurse, medical assistant, and a respiratory care practitioner, working collaboratively with schools to reduce asthma-related hospitalizations and improve children's quality of life.     ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER


    Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.     CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

    Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for this position must pass a background investigation and medical examination including drug screening.

    Shift Availability: Candidates selected for these positions must be available to work ten (10) hour shifts, four (4) days per work week (Monday through Thursday).

    Travel Notice: Travel throughout the County is required for this position. A valid California Class C driver license and proof of automobile liability insurance is required at the time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment.

    Visa Sponsorship: San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require Visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future. Candidates must be able to present their legal right to work in the United States at the time of employment.

    Minimum Requirements

    Candidates must meet ALL of the following:

    LICENSE:
    Must possess and maintain a current Respiratory Care Practitioner license issued by the California State Respiratory Care Board.

    CREDENTIAL: Must possess and maintain a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).

    CERTIFICATION: Must possess Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

They should have experience in pediatric respiratory care, asthma management, or community health and be comfortable working in a mobile clinic setting.
