This is a vocational teaching position accountable for aiding instructors in state facilities, assisting with the provision of cognitive and/or self-help skills, monitoring client behavior, and providing clerical classroom support. Employees at this level follow set lesson plans to provide classroom instruction, administer examinations, grade papers, provide one-on-one client support (e.g. tutoring), and prepare reports based on client attendance, performance, progress, and skills assimilation.
This position will also help the Patient Rights Coordinator with several clerical tasks. Lack of post- Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of the needs and requirements of working with students of varying levels, including those with disabilities. Ability to work in a state correctional, youth, and/or mental health facility.
Typical qualifications
