Work Schedule: This position must be available during the department's core business hours with a work schedule of 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
Job Location: This position is located at the Harry S Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, Missouri.

- General clerical duties such as answering telephones, processing mail, scanning, ordering supplies, staff scheduling and calendar maintenance.
- Serve as a back-up to fellow support staff when necessary.
- Opening and maintaining cases in the web based case management system.
- Coordinating outreach efforts by the Division including maintaining publications and supplies.
- Act as the liaison between insurance companies and the department on complaint verification and updating of company contact information.
- Preparing, maintaining, and administration of form letter correspondence to insurance companies, state agencies, and consumers.
- Courteous with strong customer service and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of grammar, spelling, basic arithmetic and formatting of correspondence.
- Comprehensive knowledge of office practices, procedures, systems, and equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with insurance industry representatives, department personnel and the public.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Areas of qualifying experience:
- One or more years of related office support experience and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
