    Yavapai County Sheriff's Office is seeking a RECORDS TECHNICIAN

    Join the dedicated team at the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office as a Records Technician within the Intake Division of the Criminal Justice Center in Prescott.

    As a Records Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and accuracy are essential. Ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, discretion, and effective communication abilities.

    This position involves rotating shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    Major Duties, Responsibilities

    • Performs a variety of clerical and office tasks, including entering and retrieving data from computer database programs, maintaining filing systems, compiling data and preparing reports; receiving money and entering receipts; handling incoming phone calls and assisting visitors; keeping account and other office records; proofreading and coding; and coordinating flow of clerical work with that of other departments and agencies.
    • Handles public and agency requests for records information, both by telephone and in person.
    • Classifies reports, sorts, and analyzes information, compiles statistics, verifies information, and builds and maintains statistical data.
    • May perform special project research and analysis as assigned.
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


    Minimum Qualifications

    Education:
    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Experience:
    A minimum of one (1) year of general office experience.

    Additional Requirements:

    Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.
