Job Summary Performs professional, administrative, and supervisory work developing, administering, marketing, and evaluating neighborhood outreach and engagement initiatives throughout the City of Orlando. Duties include: planning and administering neighborhood outreach efforts city-wide; supervising the Neighborhood Relations Coordinators; planning, implementing and evaluating neighborhood leadership training; budget development and administration; serving as a liaison with other City departments; staying current and informed on new neighborhood capacity building, sustainability and livability trends and initiatives; and advising City elected and appointed officials and City departments on neighborhood outreach and engagement. Work is performed under the direction of the Office of Communications and Neighborhood Relations Manager. Performance is reviewed through reports, conferences, and results achieved .
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree in Public Administration, Public Relations, Urban Planning, Nonprofit Management, Psychology, Sociology, or related field. Minimum of four (4) years experience in conducting community or neighborhood outreach programs, to include experience managing/supervising staff and/or volunteers working in community or neighborhood-related programs; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Proficiency in use of personal computers with specific knowledge of Microsoft Office. Valid Florida Driver's License required.

- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
