Why you’ll love this position:The Division of Behavioral Health is seeking a Senior Accountant for Central Office domiciled in Jefferson City, Missouri. This position reports to the Director of Fiscal Operations.
Responsibilities: - Understand and provide oversight for the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) initiative.
- Ensure timely submission of CCBHC cost reports to CMS on a yearly basis.
- Monitor CCBHC allocations and payments. Know how they are set up in the Claims Validation System (CVS) and be able to assist CCBHCs and other staff on questions.
- Oversee the processing of all CCBHC operations.
- Oversight and assist with the CCBHC mailbox.
- Monitor community provider payments.
- Assist with any financial issues that arise with CVS.
- Assist with development of budget items that pertain to CCBHC funding.
- Act as the financial liaison for the division’s crisis programs, including 988 Call Centers, Mobile Crisis Services, and Behavioral Health Crisis Centers.
- Oversight and primary financial contact for prevention budgets.
- Develop improved procedures and controls.
- Oversight of all federal grants.
- Ensure spending is within state and federal regulations.
- Oversight and primary financial contact for recovery services budgets and financial operations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Experience using a Microsoft Windows Operating System
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with:
- interpreting reports for management decision making.
- assisting with the consolidated SAPT and MH block grant application; and
- developing improved procedures and controls
- Ability to analyze financials and alert management of outliers.
Salary: up to $76,436 annually, commensurate with education and experience.
