This position will be located at Mastodon State Historic Site. Shifts will occur primarily in the museum, located at 1050 Charles J Becker Drive in Imperial. Shifts will generally occur between 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Weekend availability is required.
Duration of Assignment: May - September, with possibility to extend further.- Provide customer service to visitors, including taking admissions, answering guest questions, and assisting with merchandise purchases.
- Clean the museum and assist in museum opening and closing tasks.
- Plan and present interpretive programs to the public.
- Assist in the removal of invasive plant species.

Experience to be Gained:- Developing and implementing interpretive programming for a wide range of audiences.
- Hands-on experience in invasive species monitoring and removal.
- Detailed knowledge about local archaeology and ecology.
