Administrative Aide who will work closely with our
County Counsel team. The Administrative Aide will perform administrative tasks and provide relief to the County Counsel, Chief Assistants and Administration; advise on interpretation and application of policies and procedures; respond to inquiries and correspondence; oversee and coordinate officewide activities/events; update the County Counsel and Administration on upcoming assignments, information requests, special projects, and meeting preparations; stay abreast of changes to court rules, regulations, and procedures; compile detailed legal and administrative or confidential data; prepare memos, correspondence, and legal documents; prepare Board of Supervisors agendas and closed session agendas for County Counsel’s review and preparation for Board meetings; review agendas and research Board agenda items; provide technical assistance in closed session and other confidential meetings.
IMPORTANT NOTE: General clerical experience is not considered qualifying. Qualifying experience is typically equivalent to the San Bernardino County Executive Administrative Assistant I and above classifications who provide support to a specified executive-level professional or administrative position(s ).

The candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and able to anticipate the needs of the office to ensure all administrative and operational tasks are handled with efficiency. Experience working in a legal environment is highly desired but not required.
