    Accounting Division - AP/AR

    Accounting Clerk

    Transfer Opportunity

    GSD Accounting Division is seeking to fill one (1) Accounting Clerk position to support the division in performing daily accounts payable and accounts receivable duties. Under the direct supervision of a Senior Accountant, the duties and responsibilities of the position are as follows.

    DUTIES FOR THE POSITION:

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Lab Testing - Prepare invoices, post receipts, follow up past due amounts, and process FMS documents including encumbrance and payment documents.
    • Special Events - Prepare invoices, post receipts, follow up past due amounts, update reconciliation and status report, and process FMS documents.
    • Filming - Prepare invoices, post receipts, follow up past due amounts, update reconciliation, and process FMS documents.
    • Prepare quarterly invoices for LA Zoo fuel usage, post receipts, and follow up past due amounts.
    • Prepare annual invoices for San Pedro lease, post receipts, and follow up past due amounts.
    • Update allocation of revenue by divisions spreadsheet.
    • Prepare Direct Expenditure for Membership Dues and Subscription Payments.
    • Process encumbrances and payments in FMS for Maintenance Materials and supplies.
    • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.


    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    Candidates for this position must currently have the civil service job classification of Accounting Clerk.
