Job Summary: Participates in the administrative, financial and clerical functions of the Municipal Court, and assists in the supervision of the municipal court staff.
The salary range for this position is
$31.90- $44.66 per hour with a hiring range of
$31.90 - $38.28, depending on qualifications and experience.
This opportunity will be available to applicants until Wednesday, 3.26.25 at 12:00 P.M. M.S.T. A current resume is required, and a cover letter is preferred. Essential Functions: - Assists with the supervision of municipal court personnel.
- Manages employee schedules, processes time-off requests, sick leave requests and work assignments.
- Assists in the hiring process of court clerks.
- Writes and conducts performance evaluations of court clerks.
- Assist with department programs and projects.
- Monitor expenditures and authorize purchases to meet the operational needs of the Municipal Court. Submit invoices for payment, maintain records of invoices and assures proper posting to accounts.
- Respond to customer service inquiries, including documentation, response and follow-up.
- Provide information and assistance related to court policies, procedures and court decisions to both the public and other governmental agencies pursuant to open records and confidentiality requirements.
- Maintain and update the standard operating procedural manual.
- Oversee reporting to the Division of Motor Vehicles.
- Review government record keeping requirements and laws to comply with records retention schedules to ensure proper handling, protection and destruction of criminal justice records and information.
- Ensure policies and procedures, statutes and local ordinances are adhered to and followed.
- Identify and capture issues within the case management system and collaborate with the vendor to develop solutions.
Other Job Functions: - Process payroll ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain and order office supplies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Education: - Associate Degree in Court Administration, Business, Criminal Justice or related field required.
Experience: - 3 years s upervisory experience required.
- 2 years judicial-related experience, financial reporting experience and accounts payable/receivable experience required.
An equivalent combination of education and ore experience may substitute for education requirements on a year for year basis. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Excellent customer service skills. Articulate complex information to others in an ethical and respectful manner.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions: - Frequent m inimal physical effort typically found in clerical work. Primarily sedentary, may occasionally lift and carry light objects. Walking and/or standing as needed and minimal.

- Occasional e xposure to hazards typically found in general office environments where there is rarely to no exposure to injury or accident.
