The typical schedule for this position is 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM. Additionally, w eekends and holidays included.

ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll be doing:
- Mowing lawns to maintain a neat appearance.
- Edging along sidewalks, driveways, and landscape beds.
- Trimming grass, shrubs, and small trees as needed.
- Planting flowers, shrubs, and other greenery.
- Removing weeds to maintain healthy landscapes.
- Applying mulch to garden beds for aesthetics and moisture retention.
- Pruning plants and trees to promote growth and shape.
- Raking leaves and debris for a clean outdoor space.
- Watering plants and lawns to ensure proper hydration.

What we're looking for:
- Direct supervision of assigned staff and contractors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in routine software and business applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, databases, and virtual collaboration tools.
- Clear and concise communication, both verbal and written.
- Ability to read and comprehend department and County rules, regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with County employees, agency representatives, and community members.
QualificationsTo move forward in the hiring process, candidates must meet the required minimum qualifications. - Five years of ground maintenance experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities required.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License by date of hire required.
- Possession of a Class B CDL with air brake, manual transmission, and tanker endorsement within nine months of hire required.
