- 4 year degree in accounting, business, social sciences, public administration, or related field

Internal Auditor II: - Four (4) year degree in accounting, business, social sciences, public administration, or related field.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience.
- Masters in related field can substitute for one (1) year of experience.

The purpose of this role is to provide internal audit services for Austin Energy, with a focus on evaluating and testing internal controls, risk management, and governance processes across various business units. Key responsibilities will include identifying relevant criteria and best practices, gathering, and analyzing data, conducting interviews, drawing conclusions, making recommendations, and drafting audit reports. Findings will be communicated to executive management and presented at Audit Committee meetings. This role involves both independent tasks and collaboration with three other auditors and may include leading smaller audits or sections of larger audits.
