QualificationsAny combination demonstrating the ability to effectively and successfully perform the duties of the position is considered qualifying. A typical combination is as follows:
Education: Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, financial management, business administration, public administration, economics or a closely related field.
Experience: Five years of professional experience in assigned division, of which at least two years of experience should involve supervisory responsibility.
License/Certificate Requirements: A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or significant progress towards a CPA credential is desirable.

The appointing hiring authority will further review the job-related qualifications of those deemed eligible for hire before making selection decisions. Pre-employment Process: Selected candidates must successfully pass a fingerprint check with the State Department of Justice. Education and employment verification and reference check(s) will also be conducted.
