Job Announcement The City of Chandler Police Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Police Records Clerk. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with benefits. The Police Records Division is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Police Records Representatives are required to work various schedules which include days, swings, nights, weekends and holidays. The position is regular full-time, subject to a six (6) month probationary period. Once off probation, schedules are determined twice per year, each for six (6) months in duration.

Minimum qualifications - Must possess a High School or GED equivalency.
- Must have 1-year of previous experience working in a fast-paced environment where customer service, data entry, and clerical work were required; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- Must be able to obtain a Level A Terminal Operator Certification from the Department of Public Safety within 6 months of hire.
Desired qualifications- Candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish are preferred.
SupervisionWork is performed under the supervision of a division supervisor or manager. This position does not supervise others.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with benefits, with a varied work schedule. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
