    What We’re Looking For:
    • Knowledgeable & Skilled: Familiarity with water and wastewater systems, utility meter operations, and equipment maintenance.
    • Hands-On Experience: Ability to use hand and power tools effectively, operate heavy machinery, and perform physical tasks in various conditions.
    • Problem-Solver: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently.
    • Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with colleagues, contractors, and the public.
    • Adaptable & Reliable: Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and be available for emergency call-outs.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • At least one to two years of experience in a related role or an apprenticeship.
    • Valid Texas driver’s license (or ability to obtain one).
    • Ability to obtain a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Class C or higher license in water and wastewater.
