Customer Service Representative - License Offices Bureau Department of Revenue Annual Salary: $ 37,799.76
Location: Truman Building - 301 West High Street, Jefferson City, MO
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday)

HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: We are seeking a dedicated and detailed oriented Customer Service Representative to join License Offices Bureau. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist constituents with refund inquiries, process refund requests efficiently, and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in financial transactions. Preferred knowledge of motor vehicle laws and procedures, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: - Review and verify refund requests to ensure they meet the organizations policies and procedures.
- Accurately process refund applications within the established timelines and update customer accounts accordingly.
- Collaborate with management to resolve discrepancies or issues related to refund requests.
- Provide clear and concise communications to customers regarding refund outcomes or delays.
- Apply a variety of laws, rules, policies, and procedure to verify refund eligibility.

• Computer Literacy
QUALIFICATIONS: - High School diploma or high school equivalency certificate
- 2-4 years’ experience as an Associate Customer Service Representative or closely related work
- Preferred knowledge of motor vehicle policies and procedures
