The Plant Pest Control Program helps facilitate trade for Missouri agricultural businesses and protects Missouri's agricultural resources from exotic and invasive pests. This position is critical to that mission.
- Daily communication by phone and email with program clients and the general public.
- Export certification billing.
- Process boll weevil assessment payments and related recordkeeping.
- Assist with nursery inspection program report processing and filing.
- Assist with coordination of export certificates.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: - Two (2) or more years of clerical or general office support experience AND possession of a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Training from an accredited vocational or business school may be substituted for the required years of experience.
- Must possess a valid MO Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Detail-oriented Organizational skills Time-Management skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) proficiency and data entry experience
