    Job Description

    Performs responsible administrative and supervisory work for the Public Works Department, providing assistance to all Public Works Divisions. Responsibilities include actively participating in and coordinating the preparation of the annual budget, forecasting fiscal requirements, monitoring and maintaining the budget throughout the year, and supervising payroll and supply functions. Work is performed under general supervision and is reviewed through reports, conferences, and the results achieved.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field with coursework in accounting and two (2) years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field, including some supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must pass background check which includes polygraph.

    If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
    • Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
    • Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
    • Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
    • Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
